Energy Veggie Smoothie

Your morning cuppa has nothin’ on this electrifying smoothie! Get ready to feel ALIVE, Focused, and filled with ENERGY!!!


  • 1 large whole Carrot, sliced
  • 1 whole Persian Cucumber, sliced (or half an English Cucumber is cool, too)
  • 1-2 cups Spinach or Kale or both combined
  • 1 cup Pineapple slices
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro
  • 1 inch Ginger Root, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Raisins, or Cranberries, or Pitted Dates
  • 1/2 tsp Moringa Powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1tsp to 1/2tbsp Grade B Maple Syrup OR Raw Honey
  • Juice from 1/2 a large Lemon
  • 10 ounces of Water

Toss everything into a blender and blend on high speed for about 45 to 60 seconds. Pour in a chilled glass or add a couple ice cubes. The end result should have a yummy, veggie flavor with a tiny kick and a bit of sweetness. Enjoy for lunch and dinner if you wish. Just be sure to use this new, vibrant, creative energy to your highest good. Feeling good and beautiful starts with You, from the inside out!

    I was a little skeptical about putting a carrot, cinnamon, and dried fruit in a smoothie… and then when I blended everything, I thought it turned a funny color. But I was totally proven wrong once I tried it! It’s probably my favorite smoothie recipe from Lisa. The flavor kind of reminds me of those Odwalla/Naked Juice green juices but way fresher and not excessively sugary. YUM!
