You Are What You Eat

Veggie HeartMother Nature has everything you need to improve and stabilize your good health.
She knows we can’t remember everything that is fed to us on a daily, so Mother Nature
has made it easy on us by growing foods that resemble some of our organs.

AVOCADOS – Shaped like a uterus, and when sliced the half containing the seed looks like a womans body while pregnant. Amazing!! And just like it also takes a mommy-to-be 9 months to fully ripen her seed, it also takes avocados the same amount of time to fully ripen from “tree birth”. So what’s the point here?
If you’re dealing with any reproductive organ issues, be sure to befriend a fully ripened & ultra creamy avocado! Eating avocados won’t be an all-in-one Mister or Mrs Fix-It, but they will help improve your health. Avocados also help lower bad-cholesterol and up the good kind, help stabilize blood sugar, regulate blood pressure, decrease bodily inflammation, contain folate, all 9 essential amino acids, and fiber ~ just to name a few.

CARROTS – Slice across a full sized carrot so that you now have two halves – the top and bottom. Grab the bigger portion and walk on over to a mirror. Place the freshly sliced carrot next to your eye so that you can see both the freshly sliced side and your eye. What do you see? If your eyes are in good health you’ll notice the carrot looks similar to your eye ~ pupil, iris and all! The beta-carotene found in carrots is awesome and really does promote healthy eyesight with every bite.

WALNUTS – You don’t have to be a brain eating zombie to figure this one out. Walnuts are super high in omega-3 fatty acids which support healthy brain function. Just like our brain, walnuts contain folds and wrinkles, and if you want to keep those folds and wrinkles in action,
munch on walnuts for a quick on-the-go snack or toss into your oatmeal for breakfast or salad for lunch!

GINGER ROOT – If you could actually see what your tummy looks like inside your body, you’d see how similar it looks to that potent & minty, ginger root. Ginger is great at easing – even preventing nausea and vomiting. The next time you find yourself with a stomachache,
put the pink bottle down and steep a bit of freshly sliced ginger in a
cup of warm water and slowly allow your body to feel better, naturally.

KALE – Next time you’re at your local farmers market, grab a pretty leaf of kale and notice how the veins running through it look similar to the veins running through your body. Kale coincidentally is high in its first initial – vitamin K, which promotes blood clotting, protects the heart, and builds strong bones.
Kale, being a very powerful antioxidant, protects against breast, cervical, prostate, colon, and skin cancers. Not to hate on Popeye’s favorite, but kale is far more powerful than spinach! It is even used in Chinese medicine to ease lung congestion. So if you’re at a point in your life to fully redesigning your health, eat a bunch of kale on a daily,
and start to feel awesome on the inside and out!

The next time you decide to use your brain to hit the pharmacy to aid and improve your health,
try using your eyes instead and hit up your local “FARMacy” to aid, improve, and sustain your good health without any additional side-effects… No prescription needed!
